"In response to covid-19 Toyohashi University of Technology About the lowering to "Activity standard" [level 2.5]
(Applicable date: June 21 to July 11)

June 18, 2021
President Kazuhiko Terashima

Currently, until June 20, the activity standard is set to Level 3.
On June 17, the declaration of a state of emergency issued to Aichi Prefecture was lifted on June 20, and it was shifted to priority measures areas such as prevention of spread (until July 11, 14 cities and towns including Toyohashi City).
Regarding the situation of infected persons on the university, the infected person has not been confirmed since june, and the situation of the unwell person is also decreasing and calming down. In addition, the infection situation in Toyohashi City has decreased from a period of time as shown below in "the number of infected people per 100,000 people per week" and "the rate of unknown infection route"*1, and as of yesterday, the figures for stage 3 and stage 3 are lower than those of stage 3, respectively. However, it is difficult to determine whether this situation is not rather 10-1, but continues and decreases. (Decline tends to slow compared to nationwide)
As a result of examining these situations, we have decided to lower the activity standard to level 2.5 from June 21 to July 11 (priority measure period such as prevention of spread), so please respond sequentially. *For activity standards, see enclosure Please refer to .
In addition, PCR test and antigen test by the physically ill person have decreased, but please be aware that the activity standard may be reviewed if there is a risk that the infection will spread depending on the test result.
We look forward to continuing to work with a sense of tension to prevent infection and spread of the new coronavirus infection without losing our mind as the declaration of a state of emergency in Aichi Prefecture has been lifted.

*1 Of the five indicators shown by the government's "Subcommittee on Measures against Covid-19"

        ・ Unknown infection routes Stage 3 and 4 (50%)
*Stage 4: Explosive spread of infection and serious medical care
Stages where responses are needed to avoid malfunction
*Stage 3: Rapid increase in infected people and large-sized medical care
